Launched in 2013 by China to eliminate extreme poverty, China poverty Alleviation program included strategies such as infrastructure, education, healthcare and relocation: Investment in roads, bridges, education and vocational training. It had lifted millions out of poverty by 2020 but its sustainability is still questionable.
Uganda's program for Rural development and poverty reduction known as operation Wealth Creation focuses on farming inputs, training and capacity with aim of increasing agricultural output which is Uganda's major economic activity.
