For the purposes of this debate, Santa Claus is a real entity who delivers presents every year during Christmas to those who make it on his "Nice" list. Santa has recently been arrested for non-violent crimes like breaking into homes, flying without a license, unlawful possession of property, burglary (of cookies and milk), and other related offences. The response to Santa's arrest has been polarizing with some groups calling for his release and others supporting his arrest.
